All you need is...LUF! Welcome to the student section of our website. If you are looking for information about how you can get the most out of your time as a student, you’ve come to the right place. Because the LUF has a special membership for students. And it offers you all kinds of advantages:
- Student members can apply for a subsidy or a grant. Whether or not you are a member will not affect the evaluation of the content of your application;
- Your LUF membership card gives you discounts in shops and restaurants in Leiden;
- You will be invited to fun and interesting events, such as the PKvV party and the Cleveringa debate.
- Twice a year you will receive our e-mail newsletter with all the latest news and information on all the extras attached to student membership.
Student membership costs just € 5,- a year. Your contribution will go to one of the charities supported by the LUF: The Mandela Student Scholarship, Stop Aids Now or your own student association, and you get to choose which one. Fill in the authorisation form and your student card will be sent to your home address as soon as possible.
To resign your membership, send the student card back to the Leiden University Fund, together with a note containing your name, address and student number.
