Welcome to Leiden University Fund

Leiden University Fund (LUF) is an independent organisation that was established in 1890 to further the quality of research and education at Leiden University. We award a variety of grants to Leiden University researchers and faculties, and we subsidise the appointment of LUF Professors. In addition, we enable Leiden University students to undertake activities that enhance their studies.

LUF also strives to maintain and strengthen the bond between Leiden University and its alumni. We organise various alumni events.
