LUF-SVM grant promotes packaging and environment research

Are you planning on writing a master thesis related to packaging and environment? Apply for a 4,000 euro grant! The Foundation for Packaging and the Environment (SVM) is offering through the Leiden University Fund (LUF) eight grants of 4,000 euro for master students who successfully submit a grant request for their thesis proposal related to the theme of packaging and the environment.

We are looking for students with innovative, unexpected and exceptional insights. Thesis proposals can be submitted throughout the year. We ask you to provide the following documents to apply:

  1. A motivational letter in which you explain why your proposal deserves a grant.
  2. Your thesis proposal related to the theme of packaging and the environment in which the following is included:

    a. an either analytical of technical foundation;
    b.
     creative and innovative proposal;
    c. description of the intended contribution of your master’s thesis to the social discussion about packaging and environment.
     
  3. A letter of recommendation of your thesis supervisor.

There are two requirements for grant submission. The thesis will need to be completed within 12 months from receipt of the grant letter and after completion the thesis will be presented to a delegation of the Foundation for Packaging and the Environment and the Leiden University Fund.
