Leiden University Fund (LUF) was established in 1890 as an independent foundation to further the success of Leiden University.

One of the conditions for receiving a LUF grant is that you submit a final report.

With the contribution from our donors, the LUF supports innovative and impactful projects by talented, often young, researchers. For example, we award dozens of subsidies every year to research and education projects in various scientific areas.
