Final report
One of the conditions for receiving a LUF grant is that you submit a final report within two months of completing your project.
The final report must always include a project report (A), and with some grants, a financial report (B) is also requested. This will be specified in the grant award letter. This letter also tells you where to submit your final report. The LUF would also appreciate any photos or other images (C) from projects that have been realised.
A. Project report
A report about the project in Dutch or English of 800 to 1200 words (with at least a summary in Dutch), written for a general audience.
Please state the following at the top of the report: date, name, faculty/institute, grant reference , title, duration and location (country/place) of the project.
Elements to be covered in the report:
- Research questions, design and purpose.
- Results, follow-up actions and relevance to society.
- How the project contributed to your personal/academic development
Do not forget to mention the Leiden University Fund and, if applicable, the specific fund from which your grant was awarded in the report and other publications, online or otherwise. You will find the LUF logo on the LUF website. Please note: for projects involving privacy-sensitive information, documents must be saved with ‘not for publication’ in the file name.
B. Financial report
Use the LUF expense form for your financial report.
C. Photos and other images
If you have any good photos or other images from the project, LUF would appreciate them for our communications. Our stories about completed projects inspire new donors and enable us to award more grants for research and teaching at Leiden University. Use SURFFileSender to share your files. With videos, you can also share a YouTube link.
