Isaac Alfred Ailion Foundation

The Ailion Foundation was founded by Leiden University. Mabel Ailion bequeathed her estate to the University in 1983 on the condition that it would establish a foundation in memory of her father Isaac Alfred Ailion.

The IAAF aims to cultivate and foster cultural relations between the Netherlands and Japan and to promote Japanese Studies at Leiden University. The foundation takes into account the interests of education and research in the field of Japanese studies at Leiden University.

The foundation is a Public Benefit Organisation (ANBI), registered with the Chamber of Commerce under number 41166597. Its RSIN (Royal Dutch Registration Number) is 805314994. The foundation is located at the LUF, Rapenburg 70, Leiden, P.O. Box 9500, 2300 RA Leiden. You can contact the foundation at iaaf@hum.leidenuniv.nl. In accordance with the guidelines of the Tax Authorities, ANBI-form can also be viewed online.
