Named funds
Do you want to make a lasting impact? By establishing your own named fund, you support the university in its mission to find solutions to today’s major challenges. You choose the theme that matters most to you – from sustainability and children’s rights to heritage and health – contributing directly to a better future.
The reasons for setting up a named fund can be very diverse: to commemorate a loved-one, as a way to live on in science or to support a field of science that is dear to one's heart. Donors also choose very specific purposes such as research into post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), international human rights and congenital heart defects.
You may be considering setting up a named fund yourself or making a contribution to an existing fund. If you would like more information to help you with your decision, please feel free to contact Eliane Cohen via e.c.cohen@luf.leidenuniv.nl.
